Baby Naming

Why bother?
For thousands of years man has celebrated new life with ceremony. Traditionally this has been a Christening Service but recently many parents feel uncomfortable taking this route as they are not regular church goers. One alternative to this is a Naming Ceremony. This would be designed especially for you and can take any form with the content structured around your own beliefs and wishes.

A naming Ceremony has no legal significance therefore it can take place anywhere - your home, a hotel, a hall - wherever. You can also invite anyone you want and have any sort of ceremony you want. It is seen as a great event to publicly celebrate the birth of a child and normally grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends would all want to be there! A similar event could also be used to welcome a newly adopted member of the family too.

You get a certificate at the end to commemorate the event and if grandparents or friends take part - then so do they!
